Extremely Nervous.

Oh my god. I am so sad after watching Otsuka Ai's performance on the FNS Best Hits Award show. I didn't watch NEWS on that show yet because I refuse to. I mean, if I start watching Yamapi on that show, I would eventually want to watch everything I missed out on him for the past 3 weeks or so, and I would never go back to studying. And so I decided to catch up with Otsuka Ai instead.

She had a technical failure during her performance! OMG. Her earpiece wasn't working. =( I don't know exactly what the earpiece does for singers, but I remember once asking my brother and he said, the earpiece is suppose to help block those loud surrounding sound from the speakers on stage so the singer can focus on his/her singing and be able to hear him/herself sing, and that's when you KNOW that they're really singing live. Hence, you never see those artist wearing an earpiece when they lip-sync. Anyhow, Otsuka Ai was wearing her earpiece at the very beginning of the performance, and then you see her take her earpiece off like less than a minute into the song. After taking her earpiece off, there was a MAJOR change in her voice, like she sounded very scratchy. (I think it's because she couldn't really hear herself singing properly) =/ She sung off-pitch a couple times and then she slowly recovers afterwards. She looked like she was struggling REALLY hard to sing without the earpiece. >.<" She also looked VERY disappointed in her own performance at the end. T_T

The camera moved away to a further distance view when she took off her earpiece, so I couldn't really cap her taking her earpiece off. Anyway, she doesn't have the earpiece on anymore in this cap.




She realizes that she's losing control of her voice, so she tries to cover her left ear. She covered her ear twice in the performance. >.<" You see that black string hanging from her scarf in the 2nd cap, that's her earpiece.




Disappointed Otsuka Ai.  =(

Extremely down and depressed Ai. T______T Even when she was given the award at the end of her performance, she still didn't look very happy. Like she forced a soft smile on her face when she was given the award. Man, I hate to see this happen, it hurts just as much as seeing Yamapi's incident with the mike drop at Music Station. =( Except Yamapi had a much worse situation. But I still admire Otsuka Ai for continuing to sing live even when her earpiece wasn't working. I think this might be her first time coping with a technical failure during a live performance, and I think she handled it really well, despite singing off-pitch 2 times. I mean, if I was her, I would probably freak and not know what to do. I would probably STOP singing. ;__________; Man, my heart stopped beating for a second when she went emo. >.<


Now I want to watch the full show because I want to see other artists perform too. Is the full show out anywhere yet? Btw, I never knew Japan had music award shows. I mean, I RARELY see any on the internet. Actually, I remember watching this show 2 years ago with Otsuka Ai performing "Cherish." Oh, the Korean/Japanese singer K was on it too! This is strange. Why is that Japan, the country with the biggest music industry in the entire world NOT have much music award shows?! o.O I don't get it. Like what is up with that? But then again, that might be a good thing. Because then the media wouldn't be focusing on who's going to win awards and who's not. Heck, those Chinese music award shows are so annoying because most of the time, the awards are rigged anyway. Mostly the TVB Jade Solid Award show. TOTALLY RIGGED. They only give awards to artist who have good relationships with TVB, hence Leo Ku, Joey Yung, Andy Lau, Hacken Lee and Kelly Chen. How unfair. =__________=" Half of these people don't even deserve the award most of the time.  
 

I read the most shocking news last night. I read from [info]kedaikopi that the teacher from Dragon Zakura is getting married! =O *SHOCKU* I mean, I thought he was already married. WTF. =/ But anyhow, congratulations to him! Oh, did I ever mentioned that I REALLY like the teacher from Dragon Zakura? I think he's quite hot for a male idol his age. I mean, he's quite dark and manly. LOL. XD I'm so glad Yamapi worked with him, ne. I bet he probably learned LOTS from working with him in DZ. =) I wonder if Yamapi will talk about his marriage in his j-web? XD I wonder if he'll attend his wedding! HAHA. 

Then I was looking at this poll. The guy who's ranked #1- 福山雅治 You know what, I see this guy's name in EVERY single poll. I especially recognize his name because he topped Yamapi at #1 for male idol with best fashion on a poll. LIKE WTF?! D: And so, I have ALWAYS been keeping my eye out to how the heck this dude looks like to top Yamapi, and so I googled him last night.

OMG. HE'S NOT EVEN GOOD-LOOKING. ARGH. Apparently he's in the drama Galileo this seaon? Anyway, I was telling Michelle how he's SO OLD. Well, apparently he's not actually that old. (38) But 1969 sounds old, no? HAHAHA. Or I am just interested in guys who are born in the 1980's. =P 

It's so sad how Yamapi is ranked so low in that poll though. Nobody wants to marry him. HAHA. YAMAPI, I'LL MARRY YOU! XD

Yeah, Galileo is good, but I liked him since I watch beauty or beast~ you can give either a try if you feel like it :P he's the type who is likely to be more popular with girls from 20s to midle-aged women ^^;;

I got it from her forum - Channel Ai. =D Man, jpopsuki doesn't work for me. My internet server blocks it. =/ I still have to fix it. >.<" Do you know if the full show is up on jpopsuki already?

I miss you girl.....anyway fukuyama masaharu is the guru for all man in japan that ladies like...he good looking, tall, good voice, good singer, actor etc..etc...compare to yamapi....nothing....he also one of the guy that i like...fukuyama and abe hiroshi is in the same area of age....let me say ...they are grouping of 40's, takuya in 30's and yamap in 20's ...hahhah and your honey need to learn more form them coz he getting voted almost nothing or at least he got is top 10....i really worry about him....anyway...miss yaa...and okaeriiii

LOL! My honey needs to learn from him. XDDDDDDD Yeah, sometimes Yamapi even goes lower than top 10. >.<" He really needs to do SOMETHING to gain more popularity if he wants to be Japan's #1. =P

ayaka doesn't use earpieces... But I think that's just cuz she's used to not wearing them since she does live performances/tours so much. Ai Otsuka looks soooo sad though. *hugs* It must have been a really bad performance. :( Oh, and I was going to say, this earpiece controversy thing reminds me of the other music show earlier, when Koda Kumi had problems but performed without her earpiece halfway too...

You need to watch the "Galileo" drama. He's old, but you can't deny his hmm, handsome presence on-screen. XD

TVB is rigged. And they know it, but I don't think they care because HK is so small, there's no other entertainment business/company who can compete for their money.

JAPAN TOTALLY NEEDS MUSIC AWARD SHOWS. The only "big" music award show is MTV Music Video awards, and that one already sucks because mostly R&B people attend. Rawr. There's a huge Korean music award show called MKMF and it's HUGEEEEE, with a red carpet segment and everything. Artists actually take turns walking down the red carpet and they get interviewed and everything. Sooo stupid that Japan doesn't have one, cuz like you said, they have such a big music industry. DDD:

The FNS show is up on JPOPsuki (and I don't think you can fix it from being blocked. You need to use a proxy server like I said earlier, unless you use a completely new IP address.

Really? She doesn't use them? Yeah, that performance was her worst so far for "Pocket" =( Ah, but in a way, at least having the earpiece not working is better than the mike not working! XD They can at least continue with their live singing even if they might sound a little bad. =/

I really need to watch this drama and see what's the hype about it. =P

That's very true. I just don't like how HK artists are so stuck-up in winning those awards. Like what's the big deal? Awards don't mean everything! D:

But then again, I like how people get to perform on those end of the year music shows like MSSL, Best Artist, Kouhaku and etc. Because what if Otsuka Ai doesn't win a award in the award show, then I won't get to see her perform! XD Oh, but I like how they give awards out to foreign artists OUTSIDE of Japan in the MTV Music Videos Awards, though. Like how they invited Mayday from Taiwan on that show. XD Yeah, did you know that TVB started doing the carpet segment thing now for their Anniversary Awards now? =_______="

Yep, that's what you do. You might have to login a few times depending on which proxy server you get, but well, better than nothing, right?

OMG. THANK YOU. IT WORKS. I CAN FINALLY LOG INTO THE FORUM NOW. OMGGGGGGGGGG. =DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD I'm gonna stalk the forum during xmas break and catch up on all my downloads. =D MAN, I MISS THAT FORUM AND ITS MUSIC SHOWS. ♥ I need to bookmark this proxy site. XD

Btw, did you know that there's something called uTorrent that works the same as BitComet? Except uTorrent downloads wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy faster than BitComet. I downloaded Tantei Gakuen Q with that on my brother's computer during my renovation, because he doesn't have BitComet anymore, and it only took me like 30 mins or less than an hour to download the episode. My brother told me to install that program on my own computer. Check it out here. =)

OH YEAH. I switched to uTorrent a few months ago, and everything's SO MUCH FASTER on it. I used to use BitLord and it was crazy slow, but now with uTorrent, I'm getting everything so much faster. :D

LOL,Japan and their polls.If I look at the answers,I think they asked the older women? Cos usually Yamapi would appeal to the young adults.

yeah, you know, fukuyama masaharu.. i dont understand either, i think hes ugly. well hes ok in galileo but i dont like the show very much cuz i dont think its very scientifically accurate (haha i'm just such a geek).. i mean ok it COULD happen but its not realistic AT ALL. and just... alot of things. u should watch it, its not bad. but yeah i dunno why hes always at the top of the polls cuz i dont think hes like all that great. just like i dont think kimutaku is all so great either but then again i have liek all of japan's population against me on that one SOOOOO... XDDD

most of the non-JE artists dont lip sync. yea its good that JE groups are singing more things live 'cause its just ridiculous if they dont.. like i dont think ppl should be in that industry if they're not singing live at performances. grrr.

ughhh hes annoying in the show... well, to ME. alot of ppl like him and the girl and the show... the girl annoys me, he kind of annoys me sometimes, and its like ew. hahaha. well ok hes okay in the show but WHAT? why would ppl wanna marry him? @____@

EXACTLY! Totally ruins the whole point of singing or even BEING a singer! T_T It doesn't matter if they don't sound perfect singing live. I mean, that's the whole point of live singing, right? That they don't sound like a maniac who sings with a monotone voice! O_____O

but I just had to say, I think Fukuyama Masaharu is awesome. And he's really good looking. (I too am watching Galileo xD) But if I were into 30-something year olds, he'd be at the top of the list.

Yes, everyone seems to be loving this guy from Galileo. Hmm....I haven't watched the drama yet, soooo.....^^' But I would definitely want to check it out and see what's the hype about it. lol!

Btw, we never friended each other, have we? Heh, let's friend each other now although I'm trying to keep my friends list short. XD
