Yamapi pirate! HAHAHAHAHA. OMG. Pirates of the Caribbean! XDDDD Oh wow, it is weird having to see Maki with her Hana Kimi haircut. o_O She should've wore hair extension or something. Hmm.....But anyway, Yamapi is looking hot as usual. I can't wait for the movie now. =D It seems to look promising, no? It BETTER be. Rawr. D:

Oh my god. I am so sad after watching Otsuka Ai's performance on the FNS Best Hits Award show. I didn't watch NEWS on that show yet because I refuse to. I mean, if I start watching Yamapi on that show, I would eventually want to watch everything I missed out on him for the past 3 weeks or so, and I would never go back to studying. And so I decided to catch up with Otsuka Ai instead.

She had a technical failure during her performance! OMG. Her earpiece wasn't working. =( I don't know exactly what the earpiece does for singers, but I remember once asking my brother and he said, the earpiece is suppose to help block those loud surrounding sound from the speakers on stage so the singer can focus on his/her singing and be able to hear him/herself sing, and that's when you KNOW that they're really singing live. Hence, you never see those artist wearing an earpiece when they lip-sync. Anyhow, Otsuka Ai was wearing her earpiece at the very beginning of the performance, and then you see her take her earpiece off like less than a minute into the song. After taking her earpiece off, there was a MAJOR change in her voice, like she sounded very scratchy. (I think it's because she couldn't really hear herself singing properly) =/ She sung off-pitch a couple times and then she slowly recovers afterwards. She looked like she was struggling REALLY hard to sing without the earpiece. >.<" She also looked VERY disappointed in her own performance at the end. T_T

She looks SO PRETTY in that outfit. Anyway, you see her black earpiece in her ear at the side close up?

The camera moved away to a further distance view when she took off her earpiece, so I couldn't really cap her taking her earpiece off. Anyway, she doesn't have the earpiece on anymore in this cap.

She realizes that she's losing control of her voice, so she tries to cover her left ear. She covered her ear twice in the performance. >.<" You see that black string hanging from her scarf in the 2nd cap, that's her earpiece.

Disappointed Otsuka Ai. =(

Extremely down and depressed Ai. T______T Even when she was given the award at the end of her performance, she still didn't look very happy. Like she forced a soft smile on her face when she was given the award. Man, I hate to see this happen, it hurts just as much as seeing Yamapi's incident with the mike drop at Music Station. =( Except Yamapi had a much worse situation. But I still admire Otsuka Ai for continuing to sing live even when her earpiece wasn't working. I think this might be her first time coping with a technical failure during a live performance, and I think she handled it really well, despite singing off-pitch 2 times. I mean, if I was her, I would probably freak and not know what to do. I would probably STOP singing. ;__________; Man, my heart stopped beating for a second when she went emo. >.<

Now I want to watch the full show because I want to see other artists perform too. Is the full show out anywhere yet? Btw, I never knew Japan had music award shows. I mean, I RARELY see any on the internet. Actually, I remember watching this show 2 years ago with Otsuka Ai performing "Cherish." Oh, the Korean/Japanese singer K was on it too! This is strange. Why is that Japan, the country with the biggest music industry in the entire world NOT have much music award shows?! o.O I don't get it. Like what is up with that? But then again, that might be a good thing. Because then the media wouldn't be focusing on who's going to win awards and who's not. Heck, those Chinese music award shows are so annoying because most of the time, the awards are rigged anyway. Mostly the TVB Jade Solid Award show. TOTALLY RIGGED. They only give awards to artist who have good relationships with TVB, hence Leo Ku, Joey Yung, Andy Lau, Hacken Lee and Kelly Chen. How unfair. =__________=" Half of these people don't even deserve the award most of the time.

I read the most shocking news last night. I read from kedaikopi that the teacher from Dragon Zakura is getting married! =O *SHOCKU* I mean, I thought he was already married. WTF. =/ But anyhow, congratulations to him! Oh, did I ever mentioned that I REALLY like the teacher from Dragon Zakura? I think he's quite hot for a male idol his age. I mean, he's quite dark and manly. LOL. XD I'm so glad Yamapi worked with him, ne. I bet he probably learned LOTS from working with him in DZ. =) I wonder if Yamapi will talk about his marriage in his j-web? XD I wonder if he'll attend his wedding! HAHA.

Then I was looking at this poll. The guy who's ranked #1- 福山雅治 You know what, I see this guy's name in EVERY single poll. I especially recognize his name because he topped Yamapi at #1 for male idol with best fashion on a poll. LIKE WTF?! D: And so, I have ALWAYS been keeping my eye out to how the heck this dude looks like to top Yamapi, and so I googled him last night.

I'm escaping from studying. XD Anyhow, I just renewed my extra icons last night because it has expired. I removed some old icons and added new ones. I don't think having 105 icons is enough, I still want more. LOL. I love the icon in this post! =D AKIRA CUTENESS. ♥

Anyway, I was youtubing while escpaing from my studies......Remember my whole talk about falsettos? Well, I've discovered something else in singing, it's called "dolphin voice" (海豚音) I think this singer sings very AMAZING 海豚音!!!

Jane Zhang singing "Loving You". Listen to how she reach the high note at 0:51. That'a a dolphin voice, or so that's how people are describing it. Amazing!

Jane Zhang singing Chrinstina Aguilera's "I Turn to You". OMG. She sounds 80% like Christina! And like everyone knows how amazing Christina's voice is. Man, I can't stop youtubing her, she's so amazing! She has a very pretty Chinese name too. 張靚穎 It even has the word "靚" (pretty) in it. XD I've been seeing her appear in the Chinese newspaper and magazine a lot lately too. It seems like her populaity is highly rising.

Then I was linked to Cheung King Hin singing with a dolphin voice. I never knew he could do that! I know he's known for singing very great falsetto.

And they were interrupting Hins at the most important part of the song too. God, shut up and let HIM sing! Look at how frigthened he is by them at 1:35. XD So cute.

This is a very great song to open up to his music for those who don't know about him. It's a song composed and produced by him. It's actually a song about himself. XD And I consider this one of his BEST Cantonese produced songs. The frist time I heard this song, I nearly wanted to cry. The second time I listened to it, I really want to cry. The 3rd time I listened to it, which was through watching the music video and I cried. The lyrics contain very deep, emotional meanings. It's a song about "life" It's soooooooooooooooooooo touching!

Other recommened great songs by him, Ten Years Older and Dear U.

I find that Hins has a very CLEAR voice singing live, it's like crystal clear. *O* And he sings very amazing in both Mandarin and Cantonese as well. He doesn't only sing very clearly, but he also he SPEAKS in a very clear voice as well. You know how Tegoshi is known for a very clear and strong voice? Yeah, it's like that but much BETTER! His Mandarin is really good and he likes speaks PERFECT Cantonese. OMG! Even I don't speak such perfect Cantonese like he does. Anyway, you know what's really cool about him though? He's from the SAME place I was born, Guangzhou! I feel so closely connected/related to him. =D

Anyhow, I find that Hins live singing skills has been degrading though. HINS, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR SINGING?! Why do you sound so raspberry/airy and out of breath now? What happened?! What happened to your crystal clear voice during live performances? ;_______; He also haven't been producing or composing much of his own songs either, which is sad because I think he produces much better songs himself than songs that other people produce/compose for him. =(

So yeah, as promised, I would do a Mika Nakashima post. I promised Yessenia yamapi_loves_me that I would, because I told her I found a flaw in Mika, and she wanted to know what it was! XD I don't know if you could consider it as a "flaw" though, because Yamapi also has the same kind of flaw. LOL. Thanks to Yessenia's consistent promotion of Mika on her LiveJournal, Mika has become one of my favourite female artist now. lol. Oh, look what you've done! Now if you keep blogging about Arashi and Aiba on your journal, I am going to turn into a Arashi/Aiba fan soon, but I am already a half Arashi fan because of Jun and pretty Sho. ♥ And I still can't stop laughing at that Aiba speaking English video you had on your LJ. HAHAHA. OMGGGGGGGG. Danger! Very danger. *DIES* 8D

Can you see it? Mika has very crooked teeth. LOL. There's like something sticking out on the left side of her teeth. XD That's probably why Mika doesn't smile as much in photoshoots, and you would probably never see her smile this big as often. Look! She's even covering her smile with her hand, something like what Yamapi likes to do. LOL.

And this part. ROFL. This woman loves Mika and her NANA outfit, so she wants to try wearing it for once. LMAO. She's so fat that the outfit won't even fit on her. XD

Proposal Daisakusen Episode 4.

Ah, I'm so behind in my ProDai episode reviews. I was going to give up on updating it because I'm getting so lazy. XD Oh, why did I even make myself a promise to write a review for every episode in the first place anyway? ;_______; It takes me like 2+ HOURS to write a review for one episode. >.< And I bet there's already a million drama reviews on this drama on LJ anyway, but maybe I'm the only rare and crazy one who like takes massive amount of screencaps and writes an essay review on them. LOL.

I was going to do a review for episode 5 in this post too, but I realized that I have once again took way too many caps that I would probably kill someone's internet connection if I did 2 episodes in one post. ^^; So I'm saving episode 5 for later. =)

Anyway, here goes my essay reviews! XD

Kenzo travels back in time to when he was giving his button to this girl. XD The 2nd cap reminds me of the Nobuta scene where Akira's slapping his own hand for attempting to throw Nobuta's video tape away. lol.

I love his how he said "Surprise!" at this part. XD And Kenzo is sad that he has failed not to give the girl his button again. *gives Kenzo a pat in the back* lol.

Kenzo begging his friends to help him get the button back. His hand gesture in the 2nd and 3rd cap. OMG. IT'S SO CUTE. It reminds me of something that Akira would do. XD

I don't know what word Yamapi said at this part, but I think it was "ichinaiyo?" Fever to Future? lol. I don't know because I'm not watching the episode with subs. XD It's so cute when he said that word. And poor Kenzo getting hit in the head again. DD: STOP HITTING HIM, YO~! He's getting abused too much in this drama. ;_____; Aww, you poor thing. *pets your head* Daijoubou~ >.<

LOL. They're begging the girl to give Kenzo's button back. OH MY. Look at all those buttons that girl has! O_O Kenzo thinks, ~~what a crazy bitch.~~ Isn't my one button enough? ROFL. XD

And this reminds me of the scene from Nobuta with Shuji and Akira looking at each other at the end of the last episode because of their uniforms. XD They're the same. Everything reminds me of Nobuta in this episode. LOL. I feel like I'm rewatching Nobuta again. XD

A little late with the review this time, and I'm combining 2 episodes in this post. lol.

Episode Two.

His knife headband still freaks me out. O_O And this scene reminded me so much of Nobuta because of the haunted house theme. Except in Nobuta, he was more cute as a Dracula. XD

This part made me squeal so much. IT WAS THE CUTEST SCENE EVER. I thought Yamapi did a great job here with his expressions. It was just pure CUTENESS and SWEETNESS. I hope that's not how he acts when he's in love in real life. I mean, I think I would die from his "doki doki" cuteness.

WAHAHAHA. The High School Queen and King contest? I bet Kenzo would be at top if he joined. XD Look at their height difference here. SO CUTE.

Because I like how cute and emo Kenzo looks, squatting against the wall like that in this cap. XD

I like how cute he looks in 2nd cap, but I just wish he would stop pouting so much to show sadness. DDD:

Flying paper airplanes. Nobuta, na? It seems like in almost every school drama, flying paper airplane scenes are always used, as it symbolizes freedom? I actually never flew or folded paper airplanes in my High School years before. I am suddenly inspired to go fly a kite in this beautiful weather.

I notice the weirdest things, but Yamapi has those "half circle" white thing on his thumb nails. XD Some people have them and some don't! I DON'T! LOL. I forgot what it means if you have them. Apparently, it's suppose to have some special meaning?

He found the present! Though what would happen if someone else passes by the library and takes it? O_O

What a CUTE band-aid! And his arm looks so skinny.

AH. EYE CONTACT!!! I thought this part was done really well too. You can really feel the "intimacy" here, but a little too much that makes me a tad bit jealous.

This part is SO CUTE how he shyly puts the note on the table.

I am running out of things to say, other than the word "cute."

The cake looks a bit plain. Add some kiwi and mango in there. YUMMY~ And we all know what he's wishing for, right? ~~He's wishing for the bride to be me~~.

I think episode 2 is my favourite episode so far.

Episode Three.

Kenzo is so childish. This part reminds me of Tsurara drawing Kurosaki in Kurosagi.

Ken is too nice. He'll never win Rei's heart like this. Remember the good guy never wins? But this goes to prove that he has a good heart.

The guy's too short that he has to stand on top of Yamapi's knee. XD And doesn't Yamapi/Ken look so kakkoi in ths 2nd cap?

Because I like scenes with the teacher and Ken.

Yamapi's fingers look amazingly long in here. *O*

I can actually read/guess what's written on the paper. lol. It's asking whether if they should buy flowers for the teacher because it's his last day? And the drawings of the seating is so cute.

His smile is so sweet here.

He looks so cute and sad here when he failed his mission. XD It's like a little boy who has done something bad/wrong. SO CUTE.

You see more of the character development in this episode, especially Ken's, but what bothers me a bit about the drama now is that it's progressing at a very slow pace.

Anyhow, on another note. WOW. Look at all those spams about Jin's return on my friends-list. ^^; I thought Jin was never going to come back, but anyway, ~~YAMAPI CAN NOW GO SLEEP OVER AT HIS GIRLFRIEND'S HOUSE AGAIN.~~ YAYS? >=P

And dude, what is this Tegoshi Yuya, singing Can You Feel the Love Tonight? OMFG. I can't stop listening to it! *O**O**O* Especially in the beginning of the song, where he speaks so softly. *MELTS* OMFGGGGGGG. Listen to him say, "kawaii" and "oyasumi" at the end of the song, and his LAUGH. *BRAIN EXPLODES* )"O"(

GAH. And according to Cindy, Yamapi smoked in Sore wa, Totzusen, Arashi no you ni too. >.< STOP SMOKING, DAMMIT! Or I am going to have to slap your pretty face if I have to. RAWR. And was it REALLY necessary for him to smoke in this scene? I don't think so. I mean, if he was playing a gangster role like Nagase Tomoya in My Boss My Hero, then surely smoking is unavoidable, but omg, WAS IT REALLY NECESSARY HERE?! *smacks those drama producers*

How oddly is he holding/smoking that cigarette. OK. I refuse to ask my brother about this scene, because he gave me an answer I didn't want to hear in Kurosagi. ;__________; But this proved to me that he IS A SMOKER. I mean, look at how pro he's holding/smoking that darn cigarette in here. ARGH. But then, he looks so weird holding it here in ProDai, looking as if he's half a smoker and half not. AH. YAMAPI. THIS CAP DESERVES ITS FULL SIZE. Look how CUTE that pout is. I kind of wish Yamapi didn't pout so much in Proposal Daisakusen. It makes me thinks he can only do Kusano Akira roles, but who could resist his pouty-lips?

This part was actually quite touching. I just wish Yamapi could be a tad bit more natural, during emotional/sad scenes. He's still very stiff/uneasy with showing emotions.

Finally, a real update!

Everyone has already started watching the new dramas for this season, but I haven't got time to watch any yet. >.< I am downloading Proposal Daisakusen on BT right now, and I refuse to read my friends-list until I get to watch it. Don't want to be reading any spoilers!

I was going to check up on communities and catch up on stuff after work last night, but my internet was down, and I couldn't get explorer or firefox to load. I couldn't even sign in MSN. DD: I got really bored so I decided to go on my brother's computer to watch some stuff. lol. Because he usually downloads more variety of stuff on his computer than I do. All I have on my computer are all Japanese/JE related stuff, and I didn't feel like watching anything JE/Yamapi related. XD

Anyhow, I initially wanted to find Death Note: The Last Name on his computer because I still have half of it to finish off. While I was looking for Death Note from his "BT Download" folder, I saw this drama subbed by Subpig with the title "Sexy Voice and Robo" The title sounded so interesting and appealing, so I went on and open the file in the folder. OMG. I highly recommend this drama if you have time to watch it. IT'S HILARIOUS! A must watch for L fans. I almost died watching it last night. LOL.

Synopsis: Sexy Voice and Robo starring Matsuyama Kenichi, L from Death Note plays a geek, Sudo Ichiro (Robo) who has an obsession with robot models and Ohgo Suzuka plays a High School girl, Hayashi Niko that has an ability to alter her voice to manipulate men. She also has very sensitive ears, and the ability to recognize people's voices easily. The two of them met randomly and team up together to solve various cases.

I think Elle with2l is also watching this drama too, right? =)

Drama review: I love Matsuyama Kenichi's a.k.a L's character in this drama. It's so much better than him as L in Death Note and him in 1 Litre of Tears. I hated him in 1LoT because he was such a butt head in there. XD He was okay as L though, but L's character was rather boring and emotionless that it didn't really require much acting skills, but omg, his character in Sexy Voice and Robo is SO ADORABLE AND CUTE. He can actually act. His expressions in here are amazing! Love his Bruce Lee action with the nose rubbing. ROFL. XD

Ohgo Suzuka (Niko), I thought she looked familiar when I first saw her face on screen, but I can't remember where I've seen her from. Anyway, she's a another one of those really young actress. (13) She's quite cute. Very innocent and sweet looking. She reminds me a lot of Shida Mirai, Miki from 14 Sai no Haha. Judging from her acting skills in the first episode, she's quite good. Really great eye expressions and she's good with emotional scenes too. I was pretty impressed with her acting at the end of the first episode, really touching!

This drama is pretty much like a Japanese version of the American cartoon, Inspector Gadget, I suppose. Robo's character is kind of like Inspector Gadget, and Niko is kind of like the niece in there. If you like comedy dramas with a bit of intense serious issues on life, then I highly recommend this drama. It's fun to watch! Judging from the first episode, there's a level of seriousness in the drama, but it's not too high or deep, it just makes you think about life in general a lot. Some messages I noticed in the first episode that the drama was trying to convey:

- You're not living alone in this world
- Freedom: do you want to be free?
- Your existence makes a difference/has an affect on other people's lives because everyone is connected/united in this world.
- Living can be a horrifying thing
- Finding your reasons to live

Some funny scenes from the drama:

- When Robo got accused as a pervert because he was blowing air into this woman's ear. XD

- Robo wants to buy this robot model from these two people, but he didn't have money. Niko offered to lean him money to buy it, but he didn't want to take her money. He took it in the end anyway because he really wanted it. OMG. You should watch how he whines about how badly he wanted the robot model. It was so cute!

- Robo fighting to get the box back from the killer dude, and his robot model flew on top of the street lights. XD

- Robo trying to get the robot model down from the street lights by using a fishing rod. ROFL. XD

- Robo to the rescue with his 50 year old-looking car. LOL.

- Robo's collection of robot models in his house. [HOLY COW. That's a A LOT of robot models.] O_O

All in all, this drama is cracktastic! I can't wait to watch the next episode with Robo and Niko in robot/ranger suits. ROFL. XD I am definitely going to continue with this drama. I hope my brother will continue to download it on his computer too, so I don't have to download it on mine. XD I wonder if my brother will download Liar Game on his computer, I'm kind of lazy to download it myself. LOL. I highly doubt he will download Proposal Daisakusen though, it's not his type of drama, I can tell. However, I know he will most likely be downloading Bambino with Matsumoto Jun though. =D

Oh yeah~ My brother also has the 1 Litre of Tears SP downloaded. I kind of skimmed through it briefly last night. I'm still contemplating whether if I want to watch it or not. Can someone tell me if it's good? Maybe I should go ask my brother that, assuming that he has watched it already. XD Actually, is the doctor from the drama in there?

Waratte SP

If I haven't mistaken this part, they were asking Yamapi and Junno how they usually address/call each other? Yamapi said he calls Junno "Taguchi" and Junno said he calls Yamapi "Yamapi." XD

Look at Yamapi's reaction to Junno calling him "Yamapi." He looks slightly pissed off and annoyed because he's a sempai to Junno, and the proper way to address him is by calling him by his last name "Yamashita-kun". XD Yamapi said this is the first time Junno called him by the name "Yamapi" because he said "hajimete", which means first time? I should ask someone's who's more knowledgeable in Japanese than me like Freedom, ne. =)

Still looking pissed off. XD Something random, but notice how Junno had these weird tapes on his jeans on the right? XD I found that amusing! LOL. And when fans were screaming "P-chan, ganbatte", why were there fans screaming "Kame" and then "KAT-TUN?" O_O Why was Kame mentioned? I want to know!

I was watching this boxing part while my brother came into my room to look for something, and he was watching and asked me if they're playing Wii. XD Anyway, according my brother, he said Yamapi look like a "skilled" player because he knew how to block the opponent's punch. LOL. Notice how Yamapi has his control close by his chin. My brother said that's how you block. I bet Yamapi probably plays boxing on Wii at home all the time, ne. XD

When Yamapi won the first round, he was giving high fives to everyone from the Proposal Daisakusen cast, except for the doctor from 1LoT. ;____; He was probably too arrogant from winning the first round to notice he forgot to high five with the doctor, but Nana Eikura filled in the job for Yamapi in the 2nd cap. Awwh~ That was so nice of her. ^____^

Again, he missed giving high fives with the doctor. ;____; Yamapi, why won't you high five with the doctor too? DDX

I wanted to know what Yamapi was saying to Junno at this part, after he defeated him, but the camera moved to show the replay of their boxing part. ARGH. Darn cameraman! DDD:

His smile is SO CUTE in both caps. =D

I thought this part was really sweet how Yamapi walked up to Junno, and sort of gave him a pat in the back, like something a sempai would do. "That was a great battle, ganbatte!" kind of thing. He's so sweet.

Can someone who's better with Japanese explain to me about this part? I know it's a ranking for your "ideal" lover or something like that, right? But how does the points work? They're trying not to get the person who's first in ranking because they would lose points if they do, right? So does that mean, it's better if they get someone who has a lower ranking because they would get more points that way? Ah, this is when not knowing enough Japanese to know what they're saying sucks. ;______; I want subs for this SP now!

P.S. My download for Proposal Daisakusen on BT is not moving! DDD: Move, darn you!

Otsuka Ai music spam. Muahahaha. I am going to spam something of Ai everyday. =D

You know what's good about Ai's music? It's not like mainly focused or stuck to one type of genre. She kind of goes everywhere from like soft ballads like Amaenbo to sad love songs like Daisuki Da yo and Kingyo Hanabi. Then she has her crack fast songs like Happy Days, Pretty Voice, SMILY, and CHU-LIP. Her fast songs are really good to listen to when you're feeling down because they're full of energy and it just makes you want to dance. XD And Planetarium. How amazing is that song? Cherish is also a beautiful song. Very rockish. It's like her music is full of surprises and you never know what she'll hit you with next. XD

Otsuka Ai - CHU-LIP (A live performance without the blonde hair wig and without those ~~gay dancers~~ XD)

I don't have this performance. OMG. I need to find it! And I wonder if Ai's wearing hair extensions because her hair grew long so fast. Remember her Best Artist performance? Her hair was still really short. O_O It's only been 3 months! Or maybe those Japanese people use some kind of special hair shampoo or something. MAN. I need that shampoo because my hair takes like ages to grow. >=(

And yatta! Someone finally uploaded the clip of Ai on Utaban where they show her magic tricks! I was going to upload it myself. Anyway. WATCH IT!
